No one ever tells you what happens after birth so I'm curious. How long did you bleed for after delivery and how long was the bleeding so bad or heavy that you didn't wanna leave the house?

I bleed for 6 weeks. Its started heavy with clots then slowed then stopped then times of spotting. Im 2 months out and no bleeding. It starts out so heavy you may not want to leave the house esp after just having had a baby

All of my postpartum experiences have been different. I feel like the better I took care of myself contributed to how quick I recovered.
Out of 5 babies I bled around 6 weeks with my first, 5 weeks with my second and third. My fourth was 4 weeks. I’m already down to spotting with my 5th and I’ll be 4 weeks pp on Monday.

I bled for 6 weeks and that was with a csection. I was fully dilated.
