I didn't announce my pregnancy to family until 13 weeks

Same. I had a miscarriage before I had my son and the first pregnancy I announced right away and it hurt having to explain to family that I lost the baby so with my second pregnancy, i waited 3 months to announce it to make sure everything was fine.

@littleone95, I announced on here and to my husband and my best friend and that’s it I am scared to announce anywhere else or tell everyone else

I don’t blame you at all for wanting to wait. My last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 20 weeks so if we were to have another we probably wouldn’t tell anyone til the 3rd trimester. Only exception would be my parents and obviously my kids would know.

Try to want till your in your 2nd trimester at least! Prayers! Good luck! And Congrats?👣😍🍀😇

@smilingwithmyawesome4kids, I have mixed views on this topic I understand it's best to wait but at the same time a loss is never a woman's fault and the worst thing a woman can do it hide or keep it in and to herself bc I think that's causes more stressful emotions but then again I haven't experienced it so how can I really say. With Luke I went to dr on dec 15 and was told I wasn't preg then on Jan 11 I knew I was regardless of what any dr or test said and I was right I told my family around Jan 15 and didn't get a dr appt until Jan 29 and at that point Luke was already 9 weeks lol so sometimes dr just don't know everything we were amazed to see he had a big head nub arms and nice little body at that point I shared with cousins and all my family. It's so hard this time around bc I have been wanting to tell but I really need to get care and a midwife before so everything isn't undecided. My husband made me promise not to tell then he told his 2 best friends lol. I told my 2bestfriends and my photographer. My mom is coming next week home I'm able to mask my symptoms not sure I can.
