Finally feels a lil more ok to get excited bout baby now that i got heartbeat on ultrasound it was so clear & visible lil heart <3 im pissed they didnt give me ultrasound copy i requsted it & asked for it at end of appt they said it looks like a lil peanut anyways i didnt think so i seen its lil face but whatevs didnt have time to sit there & argue my cab was there smh

at 8 weeks there isn’t much of a face just yet but i feel you in the ultrasound pictures. i ask for one every time i’ve gotten one done.

That is very unprofessional I was 7 weeks and got an ultrasound copy of the heart beat and a few pictures of my baby, I'm pretty sure they have to give you pictures at every ultrasound because my doctors office always does, I even had two ultrasounds done in one day and they gave me two sets of pictures and I never have to ask for them because they are supposed to give them to you.

@amberjacq exactly it was my drs office i was pissed it was a cute ultrasound & i kept all my kids ultrasounds even as blobs this one you could see the face . I wanted it. I like looking at my ultrasounds makes me happy they should have had them printed out for me on way out .

@adriennelea I hated it when people would use the term blob or gummy bear, or peanut, or squishy because my baby is none of those things my baby is a person just like everyone else and I think people should talk about them as they would any other person

@amberjacq aw yea i feel the same the way they say it i call my baby my lil peanut in a cute way but certain way drs say it is kinda offending .

@amberjacq at the er they call it a fetus to be proper like you can call it a baby this isnt a abortion clinic & im keeping it.

@ajs_mommy yea not much but a lil i hung a ultrasound with my other son up on fridge from when he was still a lil blob & it was a lil earlier .

@adriennelea, you’re right though. and i had a scare around 6 weeks and they gave me my ultrasound picture and showed me the heartbeat and i was like “it looks like a pea!” and the lady looked at me like i just kicked her cat. and i said the same thing at 8 weeks “it’s a lil bean!!” and my OB just laughed. and it’s messed up the doctor didn’t give you a picture.
