I'm a cosleeper. Since birth really... Before I had my son - I didnt want to be but...living alone and breastfeeding and the fact my son wouldnt sleep otherwise started this journey and he slept (me included) the best and longest. Flash forward 7 months later and I got his nursery set up. My son can crawl and sit up on his own. Co sleeping became really hard because he would wake frequently and kick me, pull my hair, and scream/cry for no reason at all it seemed like. Though im sure he was teething since he cut a tooth last week. Anyways.. Its been two weeks (on Saturday) that ive been putting him to bed every night in his room. Getting him back to sleep and putting him back to bed. Sometimes its been to difficult and I bring him to bed with me. 3-4hrs he wakes. Tonight he did 8hr and 45 min. I got sleep! (: here my question lies: how do you get your little ones to sleep that 12hrs fully through??? Again, I do breastfeed every 2-3hrs plus give solids. (1-2jars a meal...though I havent kept up with the 3x a day thing). Thanks for reading this and I hope I can get some advice! ☺

Does he have dinner? Like get solids at dinner time and Milkies before bed?

@santistevanmommie he gets the jar fruits and veggies but I haven't been consistent with dinners. Hes still quite exclusively breastfed.

@littleone23, I was only asking because they say if they’re full for bed they may not wake up through the night. To be honest my 2yr old just started sleeping through the night in august

She’s also always been breastfed.

I have been told that breastfed babies wake up through the night the most due to comfort they crave from the boob (also since it is most easiest to digest) so I wouldnt be surprised. But ill be fine with 8hrs lol. Plus I did cosleep too ...although nap time was always in his crib. So he spent a majority in his own space.

@littleone23, that’s good though. That’s most likely why he’s taken to his crib easier. We co slept from birth all the time and we are just now getting her to sleep in her bed butt up against mine.

@santistevanmommie most likely. Ive also been able to leave a room and he can stay content (unless hes hungry or has a shitty diaper). Ive always had to do my own thing sometimes and he'll just play with his toys and self entertain ... Its not so bad for bedtime. But I cant walk away after laying him down in bed and "cry it out" cause he'll just pull himself up and stand! Lol that wont get him to sleep..so.. I'm at a loss.

@littleone23, I understand. I just kinda gave up after awhile and said well, she’ll sleep through the night when she’s ready I guess. She’s a lot better at self soothing now than before, same with self entertainment
