@debdeb1, yes it’s safe my dr told me I could! I went to the same guy I always have gone to as well and he’s super clean! It just had a longer healing time and it was a lot more sore than any others and it wasn’t the placement because I have one in the same spot on the other side haha

You should talk to your doctor 🙂 you probably can just as long as you maintain it clean during the cleaning process

I know it's not recommended because of the the risk of infection. But i was told as long as you go to a clean shop and take really good care of it afterwards then it will be fine. My whole family goes to the same guy for tattoos and he is always clean and waits for you to be there to open the packages and show you he is using sterile supplies. But I never thought about how the hormones may effect the healing. @mommy2bean @samanthaann

@thisisphenomenon I know you can't while being pregnant. Its too dangerous for yoh and baby. But I think it's different when you're breastfeeding.

I got one in my experience it didn’t heal well idk if maybe it has something to do with the hormones but I never had trouble with my others

I hear it’s not recommended and some shops won’t tattoo on a pregnant woman. I would call the shop and see their policy on it
