Mine were always the same day before my appointment in the office, they’ll take you back for ultrasound then you just wait for Dr. But all drs are different

Mine was the same day. But the way my doctors office works is when you call to tell them you had a positive test, they have you come into the lab asap to get blood drawn to see how far along you are.. based on how far along you are they set up an appointment, where you will get your first sonogram as well as see the doctor. They don't wanna give you a sonogram usually if you're earlier than 9 weeks.
I think it's different for every doctor and clinic, so definitely ask your doctor when you get to your appointment..

My OB had their own ultrasound staff so I was able to get ultrasounds on the same day. I had four ultrasounds my entire pregnancy.

My very first appointment was 3 hours long. They tell you to plan ahead. It included paper work, blood work, and an ultrasound. I was 8 weeks along.
