Momma's I know everyone is different and what not but I want some opinions. I only got to breastfeed my son 1 month before I dried up. So can you give me pointers to try and help me breastfeed longer this time around, I loved that small bond it created and I'd prefer to try again. So far I don't feel like anything has came in and I know it's still early. But this point last time I was already leaking. And this time around I'm not. But how or what did you eat/ drink to help keep milk production? Did you make lactation cookies or buy them if you used them. I believe it was mostly my fault last time as to why I couldn't keep breastfeeding because I wasn't in taking fluids or food like I should have and I want this time to last as long as possible.

Same thing happened to me and this time I’m having better luck with it and honestly all I have done differently is I only pump when I’m full and I drink way more water and so far so good I have to pump every two hours today because I have surgery Friday but I nurse way more than I pump

Drinking plenty of water helps especially before and after feedings, continue to take prenatals helps and oat meal. You can also drink lactation tea and eat the other lactation products. Breast milk is also supply and demand, the more you feed the more you'll produce. Also skin to skin contact helps. They also have veggies and vitmamins that help with producing.
