What do you ladies think of circumcision?

It's all personal preference. It DOES NOT prevent infections. People are so ignorant making up names for penises. As long as the baby is clean he won't have any infections like any other part of your body. I don't believe in it unless it's medically necessary and most the time it's for cosmetic reasons.

No. It's 100% unnecessary. His girlfriend won't care if she actually loves him. Not to mention some girls prefer uncircumcised penises. You have to do your own research and find valid studies, but there are more and more coming out saying that it isn't necessary and if you teach him to clean it properly when it's time then he won't have any problems.

It’s completely up to you and what you think is best for your son. Having him uncut won’t cause any more infections than having him cut. Just be prepared, if you do get your baby circumcised that after care is very nerve wracking.

There's been about a 25% decline in circumcision. Proper hygiene eliminates infections and when he gets older condoms will decrease std's and sti's.

@momof4babez I just don't get why people shame natural body parts and call it names.. Especially when you're trying to educate somebody for a baby...

So after care , what's that about. My partner has a 7 yr old and he's circumcised. We both decided out son will be circumcised but I haven't done much research on after care thank you @kcamps for bringing that to light.

My son isn’t circumcised and it’s because I believed it not being necessary. Plus his dad wasn’t... Now.... I’m going to circumcise my new baby

After care for the circumscision is extremely easy and heals quickly and my son wasn't in any pain except for when he got the numbing shot. No pain after either. My husband wanted to circumscise our son so our song wouldn't be teased by others and our son would feel comfortable with himself if he looked like right everyone else. Also, my husband said, it is easier to clean and not have to worry about accidentally ripping foreskin our anything. Either way, totally up to you.

Something that needs to be done. If it's not cleaned good and as a child there is only so much u can do, can cause infections. But on top of it, I don't know if you've ever dealt with someone who wasn't but it can be a bit too much. Circumcisions baby

I think it's a mother's choice on what they prefer to do. I do it but it's also in the bible. My reasons may be different from any Other person. Just whatever a family may chose to do. They should be able to do it without being judged.
