So apparently craving ice can be a form of pica. And mean an iron defiencicy. Which can cause lethargy. Headaches. And fatigue. Which I have all of. O.o I go back to the Dr the 23rd and I'll ask about it. But I'm wondering if being anemic would hurt the baby?

No. I'm anemic and my LO was healthy as can be. It's more of a risk to mom if she loses too much blood during childbirth.

I had to drink a lot of water, and eat things with protien. Lots and lots of protien

No it wont hurt the baby. You can take iron pills/supplements to help with that. I'm anemic, and that's all I have to do.

Your doctor will just give you a iron pill.

Won't harm baby you'll just be super tired all the time. I'm pretty bad anemic(was before pregancy as well) baby is fine

- No ma’am! Your little baby is fine! And yes craving ice is the most common sign of pica .. I eat probably five pounds a day! But only a specific ice lol it’s dangerous for you if you lose too much blood during delivery. But there’s no risk for your baby.

Look into the lucky iron fish

It won't harm the baby but you will be advised to take an iron supplement and add iron food items to your diet. They want your iron level to be at a certain level. Mine was 10.7 and they said I needed to increase it.

@beccaaalynnn11 I don't know that. The midwife I had with my daughter wasn't very helpful. So I switched to an ob the last couple weeks. He's also who I'm seeing worth this baby. Hopefully he gives me more insite to things

- What don’t you know ? I’m too scared not to see a professional. Pregnancy still scares the life out of me lol

@beccaaalynnn11 pretty much anything with a normal pregnancy. I miscarried two weeks before getting pregnant with my daughter. Bled through the whole first trimester. Had excessive morning sickness (can't remember the term) and was on medication for it. Everything is different with this baby. So it feels like I'm starting over with my knowledge of pregnancy

- Ahh, gotcha. Yeah I had hyperemesis gravidarum also, must have texted that a billion times with my first son. Every pregnancy is different. I’m sorry for your loses.
