You aren't being forced to stay anywhere. You are a grown woman and can leave any time you want to. 1 he's probably lying, 2 you are acting very childish if you believe everything you are told and think someone's forcing you st live somewhere, 3 you sound like you need to go get some help. This just doesn't make sense to me. If you're scared then go to a homeless shelter. If not then stop living your life in fear. If this guy "killed people" then he would be in jail. It's something like a group home. But the staff only work from 8 am to 8 pm everyday. So we don't always have staff on bord. Like a group home or an adult faster care home does. It's where we learn to live on our own. And try getting our guardianship to ourselves. So we can actually live on our own someday.

I work for the state that I live in, with developmentally disabled individuals. What you are describing sounds like you live in a group home within your states agency. Since you are over 18 years old, you are there voluntarily, meaning that they did not trick you, you signed paperwork agreeing to live there. That also means you have the right to withdraw yourself from the state system and leave at any time. However, being pregnant, if you do not have anywhere to go, leaving is not a smart option. Also in that sense, depending on the state and it’s regulations, they may not be required to allow you to have a baby living where you do. It sounds like your “neighbor” may be a roommate who has some mental health issues, in which case, because there are staff where you live, you are not necessarily in immediate danger. However, all of the concerns you are having are valid and I suggest you bring them up to your psychologist and primary care doctor. Good luck.

Ever since then I've been through hell and been raped beaten starved molested abused neglected abandoned and so much more all under the hand of the state.

I'm not in a mental hospital. I'm in my own apartment where we can have anyone in our apartment at anytime. And I've been looking for someone to be with ever since I moved here. And I ended up getting pregnant here to. Just to tell you little more. I was in Faster care when I was taken from my mom when I was just a teen. And when I turned 18 the state tricked me into signing my life over to them. That's how I ended up being ward of the state.

@kasie1986leow31 you you have staff and you think this dude is going to kill you just out in plain site where people can see? That's not your history. Thats your living situation. Which again, you can leave if you choose. I'm all ears to listen but you haven't fed us anything but a bunch of bull that doesn't make any sense.

Because she heard it all from me. And so far no one else has been actually listening to what i tell them about my history.

But ever since this guy moved in I've been stuck in my apartment not being able to do much outside. Especially to work in the garden they just put in for us last summer.

Looks like I have no choice but to do it. And to straighten everything out about my living situation here. We are allowed to leave and come back when we want to. But if we want to go with either family or friends we have to get permission to do that. And also have that person give information about what we have planned for the entire time we are together. And they have to also give the staff there information to.
