So my boyfriend met my dad not to long ago he made it clear he doesn't like him one bit. He agreed to be civil but said he doesn't want my boyfriend around the family. Thing is he's already met so much of my family and they all love him. So last week I ask my grandma what she's doing for thanksgiving she says she's not doing anything and I tell her the same. She asks if I'm working Sunday I say no. So she says that maybe she'll cook a turkey and we come over. Here I'm thinking it just going to be me my boyfriend her and my Papa. So a week later she texts me and says that diner is at 6 and my boyfriend is welcome. She calls me this morning and I find out all the family is coming including my dad. My boyfriend knows how my dad feels and now doesn't want to go. Either do I tbh. I don't want to sit there knowing both my dad and boyfriend are uncomfortable. This is just so unfair.
