The worst part of having a child is during labor and they stick you with them damn needles trying to find a vein. Then sometimes the vein collapse or whatever. Got to be at the hospital at six in the morning. I'm telling them nurses and lab techs I want a veteran. If you new to this game don't come my way because I'm not getting poked more than once in each arm.

I did have a time though. First bag of pitocen was a dud and I was on it for 13 hours with obviously no progression. That was frustrating. But it's over now.

I went in the hospital on a Wednesday and.didn't.meet my.baby til.Friday at 1:15
@momof42 oh my! That's terrible!! My water was broken for... 36ish hours before active labor started. And all but 8 hours of that, I was in the hospital.
I was miserable and ended up getting an infection in the womb because they let my water stay broke for too long...so.it's been c sections since then .
I was never cathed, praise the Lord.. I'd have been super ticked if I was lol
@mississippi.mama the hospital I went to only me move to use the bathroom. Then after they put the Foley catheter in I was confined to the bed
I was "induced" with my daughter. My water broke but contractions never started. So I was on a pitocen drip. They only allowed me to get up and move around unhooked for 20 minutes every 2-3 hours... it was miserable!! I hope this one goes quicker!
Lol with my first daughter when.I actually labored .I would.unhook myself cut the line off and take the heart beat and contractions monitors off to use the bathroom . The computer would start going crazy lol.I went to school.for nursing just didn't finish. So I.kind.of new what I was doing
No the immobility of my left hand lol the beeping never bothered me.
@mississippi.mama are you talking about the constant beeping? It's kind of annoying but the cable.in the hospital sucks so it relaxes me lol
My least favorite part is the IV.... I'll take the pain all day, but the freaking IV port is so annoying!!
@mississippi.mama a lot of people said that pitocin hurts but it didn't bother me and they had me up to 20.maybe my baby just didn't want to come out.or something lol
