I tried Apple baby food with the twins today and nope. Definetly do not like apples yet nor do they enjoy the spoon so I'm gonna hold off on those for awhile longer

I was thinking about trying it. I'll wait for a while, when are you going to try again

They are really young to be starting foods. Please be aware of the damage that can be caused by starting foods this early.

@arivera64 I heard about that, I'll have to look in the book

@g_lynn please do. Babies really shouldn't be having solids until 6 months old

Its not a good idea to gives babies that young any kinds of foods. Before 4 months it can cause upset and damage to their immature digestive system. Early introduction to foods can lead to childhood diabetes and food sensitivities as well. No cereal in the bottle either because doctors say its just empty calories that turns to sugar in the body which also lead to childhood diabetes and obesity. Baby will show signs of being ready around 5 months when they begin showing interest in other people eating, can easily sit and hold their head up unassisted, and can grasp items in their fingers.

@believeinbuddha their Dr told me to start them on cereal in their bottles awhile ago but I've held off on it because I didnt think it was necessary but my son is constantly eating like I'll make him 3 3oz bottles in one hour and he will still want more and he doesn't want the paci so I'm gonna start his cereal soon cause I think he is staying hungry and feeding him soo much milk isn't good

@infamousmama_ yeah my sister's baby started at 2months eating baby foods and another friend of mine gave her baby foods almost immediately. My babies are going to be 4 months on the 9th

@twinmomma2b, I feel like your fine if their tolerating it okay. Doctor never warned me about it 🤷🏻♀️ so can’t be too bad. Besides you’ve already started, and you know your baby’s best.

I started mine on some baby foods here and there around 3 months. Now at four months she loves her baby food. There are things she hates. Like bananas. There are things she loves like pear and green beans. And there are things that don't agree with her like prunes. You k ow your babies best. I waited until my daughter wasn't fighting the spit out reflex (not sure what it's actually called) now she only spits out food when she's not hungry or just plain hates it. She's also been on cereal in her bottle since two weeks cause she was trying to eat 4 ounces but her tummy could only handle 3. So her Dr. Suggested cereal to help her feel full until her tummy could handle it
