I need help ! My son and I are at his grandmothers house and it’s not baby proof mind you , he knocked over a small bowl of small screws so my husband took him into the room so I can pick them up . About 20 minutes ago he woke up from his nap I gave him a snack in his cup . I saw him in the corner of my eye move his hand to his mouth assuming it was his SNACK . Boy was I wrong ! It was a screw ! I went after him and he spit it out . It wasn’t sharp , but when I grabbed his face to check if their was another he made a swallowing gulp sound . He’s not crying or struggling to breathe he’s eating and being his happy self ! I read online that if they aren’t choking or showing signs of an issue that means it hit their stomach and it will pass . As well if it doesn’t pass when you check their poop or they show signs of not wanting to eat etc. then take them to the ER
