Right is it normal that Florence had had a snotty nose now for 5 weeks? She's getting teeth so I'm putting it down to that and that she's started nursery a month ago. She's had a cough for last week which doesn't seem to bother her till night time when I give her cough medicine maybe once in the night when she wakes. It just seems like I've been wiping her snotty nose for ages! The doctors just tell you to ride things out when you go so I'm not sure whether to take her or if it's a waste of time? Anyone else's lil one the same at this age?

Some kids are just snotty. My son is never snotty but my daughters nose is constantly runny especially with the change in weather. If shes coughing at night rub a bit of vicks vapour rub on ths soles of her feet and put socks on her. No idea why but it stops them coughing. Teething is probably the most kikely cause x

@kayteamay, thanks honey I've done that in the past when she's been really chocca full of cold but had forgotten about it ha I'll do it tonight, yeah I think it's teething too but it's going on for ever lol
