My son like all week at night when he's in his crib gets these like cough attacks. I talked to a pharmacist where I use to work today and he said they don't recommend anything for this age but if it continues to call his pediatrician and I'm definitely going to Monday because it's concerning and I feel bad for him. He still continues to sleep for the most part but I'm still worried. I don't want him to be sick. Poor honey. Plus he's been having throw up issues past few weeks where he just randomly throws up. But he seems fine after and before.

Does he cough to the point where he throws up? My daughter was having that and they recommended Albuteral which is a nebulizer. Helps so much though!

I've never tried this and I don't know if a toddler can have it often or not but I've always heard pineapple juice works better than cough syrup. Worth a try if it's not too acidic for his tummy.

@mdomke22, no his throwing up is completely separate from the coughing. I run his humidifier and give him saline nose spray and that's all about I can do for him until I talk to his doctor. Maybe I'll ask my brother tomorrow he's a nurse.

@morganmommy79, I read something about giving them honey as like a home remedy. So maybe I'll try that. I'm going to ask my brother tomorrow he's a nurse and then call his doctor Monday and see what she saids if it continues Through the weekend.
