My nipples been hurting for past two days, I’ve had throwing up spells but not that much, headaches plus abdomen heaviness. Sounds like pregnancy right??? But I’m on Mirena??? I’m scared to take a test...

When I had it inserted it initially gave me pregnancy symptoms, it was so weird. But definitely test to be certain! Good luck!

@maddiesmom, I’ve had it a year tho. Shouldn’t I have gotten the symptoms when it first was inserted?

Umm yeah, I got those symptoms shortly after getting it. Maybe call the doctor see if they can get you in to be checked and do a urine test.

Hormonal changes cause nipple pain which is common when your on birth control because that is designed to alter your hormones.

I'd test but also my doctor told me that Mirena often causes pregnancy symptoms for a while after initial insertion.

Just saw that you've had it for a year. Definitely test and/or go see your Dr.!

@morgan.k, how was everything with pregnancy even tho you had Mirena? I’ve heard it can cause tubal pregnancies.
