Has anyone here ever been a surrogate? It’s my dream to be one and my husband is finally opening up…

I’ve thought about it but after this pregnancy IDK because it’s been hell

I could not go through nine months of creating a child just to give it away.

@h_mother0322, that’s probably my only concern. With each pregnancy it’s gotten harder than the last. Maybe because I had my kids back to back

@lovelily, you’re not giving the baby away. You’re giving it back to the parents. To be a surrogate you have to go into it with the mentality of not connecting with the child like a mother would.

@anap1012, my boyfriends wants have kids back to back but I rather have them 2 years apart because dealing with 1 year old while being pregnant. I can’t do nomore

@h_mother0322, 2 years is a perfect age gap. My first two are 17 months apart and my second and third are 22 months apart. The second age gap was much easier on me and it could’ve been easier if I had waited longer.

@anap1012, my sons will be 21 months apart but my son has a lot of energy and my back hurt a lot & I get legs cramp most of them time. Some days I can play and some days I’m miserable & the days I play with him, I end up miserable. It’s a lot of work
