I hate when my husband talks about me "going back" to work when the kids all start school 😟

It's not that I'm opposed to working, it's that I didn't leave a career behind. For me, going back to work means working my ass off at serving or retail jobs for an amount of money that doesn't justify the effort.

My husband has a really great job, and we are in no way in need of anything. He just wants to be able to spend money on "wants" without a second thought. (Which he basically does anyway, hello brand new $1,800 gaming PC.)
