My baby have these blotches on his face the doctor say it’s a rash but I don’t think so more…

I'm not sure. My aunt mentioned babies get those lighter patches sometimes, as well as baby acne. I hope it's not painful for little one and clears up soon. Did the doctor prescribe something since they think it's a rash?
