Hi mamas. Is it okay to get a tattoo while breastfeeding? The place I'm going to is highly rated and very clean. I just want to make sure it won't pass to my baby. I've read the biggest concern is infection or spread of diseases.

@mamatojessegrace, No, it won’t. They just don’t like to do it for the risk of infections. But like I said it’s rare that even happens.

I wouldn't think it would be an issue as long as you follow after care instructions to prevent infection

@mamatojessegrace, Some shops will not do it, but some shops will. It’s very rare that tattoos get infected, especially if it’s taken care of properly. 🤷🏼‍♀️
