@mommy1991 Everybody says so but i dont see how its possible. I have been in two painful medical situations before and i threw up and get hot flashes and my body got so weak I couldnt even lift my head. If i tried to sit up i would pass out. That was from being in pain for an hour or two, labor will be probably be at least 12. So I literally dont get how it is possible
@ib.crazyskittles18 the pain of contractions can be controlled by an epidural. I got one and was talking through the entire time of pushing. My labor was 3 days long and it only really hurt hours before pushing. Then I got the epi and I was fine. It was pretty amazing. And I was really able to enjoy pushing and meeting my baby.
I'm sorry you are having nightmares. There are other options besides the epi if you are afraid of the needle. My first I got it and I'm not gonna lie, it hurt like hell and the doctor who gave it to me didn't do it right...tho that doesn't happen to people often. My second labor was so fast I didn't have time so I just used the gas. But I do know they have IV options, and since you already have an IV it may work better for you to take the edge off. I hope things go well for you when you go into labor. :)
