Ok ladies I just had my strep B test done today and I also got check to see how dilated I was. Well during the test it felt like she was scraping the inside of my vag and pee hole. And then proceeded to check me. Now I know I would be spotting alittle but it hurts to pee now like burning. Like she ripped me open. And every time I pee there is bright red blood. This last time I peed there was a string of blood clot looking thing not a lot way less than a dime. But should I be worried. She said I'm 1cm dialated still and soft.

Are you sure she didn't do anything else? Mine did feel like he was scrapping the inside but I didn't bleed after. I would definitely call since you're having bright red blood when you pee.

It can be normal to bleed a little and cramp after a cervix check but sometimes doctors will strip your membranes without your consent. I hope not because 36w is too early.

She said strep b test... n then checked me to see how dialated I was bc two weeks prior I was at 1cm... I put a pad on and imma see if it fills up a bit before I call...

Definitely give them a call if you feel it’s abnormal. Everyone is different but blood is always concerning.

@brownsugarluv, that's what I thought I mean she said I might have some brown spotting but I don't remember her saying bright red blood spotting
