So my son will be two next month and I want to start thinking about potty training because we will have a new baby at the end of March. We don’t want to be buying two different sizes of diapers. I’m thinking starting the beginning of the year, but I saw there’s a three day potty training technique. Basically make my son run around naked for three days and to keep an eye on him and put him on the potty when it’s time. I don’t know if that’s a good way to go about it. I would appreciate any kind of potty training for boys advice. Thanks!💗

That sounds like a good idea! Unfortunately with boys I have no experience but I noticed with my daughter pull ups were literally a waste of money! And I just put underwear on her and she only had 2 accidents then used the potty chair every time after that!

@tayler, that’s what my sister-in-law and mom said about pull ups, they will just confuse them. I was thinking of getting my son a few packs of big boy undies and starting potty training. Did you daughter like her own potty or do you put her on the toilet?

@kcamps She didn't like her own potty too much, she usually played around on it because it made noise so I bought this attachment that went on the toliet so she wouldn't fall in, and she used it every time! The 2 accidents she had, she hated. Idk if it was the way it made her feel or what? But she did not want to have an accident in the "big girl panties" lol .. Definitely try it!

Great idea that's what I did, took the time to train my boy when he was 2 before #2 was born.. I didn't wanna have to buy double diapers. Luckily he was ready cuz it was easy. Now the younger one was a whole nother story when it was time for him to learn! Lol

@kcamps, I let my boy pick his own undies and a potty seat we kept in The living room, then he was rewarded with sugar free popsicles when he would go. Eventually he started to go to the big toilet with dad everytime he went

I am a preschool teacher and I always helped parents with potty training. Best advice. Slip pull ups and go straight to underwear. They don’t like the wet feeling against skin and make them sit every 30 min. Make it a game. They go potty they get one MnM or if they don’t just a cheerio.
