All babies are different. Rolls appear on either formula or breastfed babies. There’s a lot that contributes to the growth and development of babies aside from the way they’re fed i.e. genetics, how much they’re fed, sex, their history up to being carried (if there were complications during pregnancy and what kind), etc.
@alyssa5792 a benefit of formula again is a fed baby. And I did say something. Like it or not. Now either block me or move on. You're just too far up the Breast feeding thing though . Often formula has some vitamins and nutrients that breast fed babies need to get from other supplements. Sometimes it's easier to digest the formula. There's a few. I don't have to answer to u anyways but I did so you would leave me alone . But the reason for me was cause I didn't want to breast feed oh well if u don't like my answer

Babies get chunky due to their immobility or lack of, they tend to slim when they begin crawling and walking because they have a way to burn their fat and calories. They also get chunky to allow enough fat for a healthy stretch of their bodies during growth spurts. It’s not unhealthy for a baby to be chunky.

In my case I didn't want to so I opened up the formula and fed our son and he's 3 and okay. Some of the babies breast fed are the ones with those gross fat rolls and fat ankles. But yet they're so cute being overly fat. My son is healthy and happy and was formula fed. Cause I didn't want to breast fed.

I breastfeed and I love it! It works so well for me and my LO. There’s so many benefits to breastfeeding and it’s so convenient! I feel like it’s very difficult in the beginning, but all the hardships are not permanent. Nutritionally; breastmilk changes and adjusts as your baby grows, your body takes in the saliva from baby and sends the antibodies, vitamins your baby needs! Digestion is a lot easier for bf babies compared to formula. It does not work for everyone if you decide to try that is awesome even if it’s for one day that is so much better than nothing...always do what you feel is best. I don’t get the the need for competition between the two. Both are ways to nourish babies appropriately.

@beebaby my daughter had a bili bed and her levels were up to a 20.. so not every case is the same. My daughters levels grew higher and higher.
I believe fed is best. Do what you gotta do. I wanted to breastfeed and I was very pressured to do so too by the hospital. Come to find out my daughter had breastfeeding jaundice, my milk had some sort of enzyme that was preventing my daughters liver from starting up and filtering out the jaundice. Therefore I stopped breastfeeding for what was supposed to be temporarily but after that I started drying up even with frequent pumping and couldn't get my daughter to latch. I'm just glad my daughter always has a full belly. I have no shame in formula feeding. People shouldn't shame formula feeding or breastfeeding and if you shame either then get the fuck off your high horse.
Also, breastfeeding isn't gonna guarantee an outstanding immune system. My mom breastfed me for a couple years and I had a terrible immune system as a kid.

You cant compare. Breastmilk has 120 different antibodies and special properties that are perfectly made for your baby. Formula is man made from dairy products. It has about half the properties breastmilk does. But they both nourish a baby differently for the same end result

Either way It’s never been an issue or argument about what’s best. We just live our lives and enjoy life together. I don’t know why there’s so much hostility about this conversation.

I’m a supporter of breastfeeding. It’s truly what breast were created for, there’s no other reason for them. I totally do understand that some women are unable to and it breaks my heart that they can’t. Which is why I believe formula was made for those women. I also understand that some women just don’t want to breastfeed and that’s ok, it’s their choice and I’d never try to change that. I just choose breastfeeding because I know it’s what’s best for my kids to keep them healthy inside & out.
If you do it fine if not the world goes on. It doesn't revolve around breast feeding. Get over it with these stupid you need to breast feed messages

@vvrobinson get a load of you NEEDING to breast feed. And a lot of moms put their wants over their babies needs when it comes to breast feeding and it's so selfish. Like moms who keep forcing it when it's not happening and not just getting formula just to have to shove a breast in their kids mouth.
