VENTING SESSION: I currently work at 2 jobs but just got hired at my 3rd, but at my 1st job things have changed dramatically. Everyone gets wrote up for everything and they're losing employees like crazy. I've been working there for 2 years now and would like to keep that job because I make tips. One morning I was supposed to show up at 7am when I usually show up at 8am and didn't see the new schedule because the managers kept the old one in there when that week was over so I got confused and came in an hour late. Write up #1. Then this Tuesday I work at a school's extended care program from 2:30-5:30 every M-T-W-TH-F and we had a meeting at my first job at 4:30 I couldn't make it to because I would be the only one watching the kids after 4 at my second job. Having someone to watch the kids is more important to me than a stupid meeting when I've made it to EVERY meeting before this one. Write up #2. Called off work (I NEVER call off) because I could barely walk due to my scaiatic nerve being pinched & I need to be able to walk at my serving job and I didn't go to the doctor for it so I don't have a doctor's note but my mom is a nurse and told me that is most likely what it is. I don't run to the doctor every time something happens to me so I don't have the note to prove something was wrong with me. Write up #3. Haven't been given the last two write ups yet but 3 write ups and I'm fired. Ive been working at this job for 2 years with NO write ups, no problems, nothing. We get new managment & I get 3 write ups in 1 month. 🤦🏼♀️ I hate that place anyways

They are so wrong, an thr fact they know your situation is another, but all they care about is the money they make an what they are losing. Not like it's going to affect them eaithr way but yet they need to stop with the kiddy acts cause they aren't being fair

@prtybrowneyez, right? Our new gm used to be a friend of my family too, which sucks because ever since he became the gm he got a big head and thinks he runs everything and doesn't care who he hurts

@baileyy they get like that, with new management at my old the my gm was never an ass. An the fact that they feel they would loose money when you go on leave they find the most stupid ways to get rid of you so they don't but underemployment is what gets them more than actually doing what they should do

@tyrellp, yes I'm 22 weeks. They won't fire me bc I'm pregnant but they'll use the excuse that I got 3 write ups. I literally can't stand that place & how it's ran! It might be better if they did fire me lol I got 2 other jobs anyways

@prtybrowneyez, yep & it's sad bc I'm a good employee and have been for 2 years as well as a lot of people they're running off for multiple reasons. Ugh I hate that place so much

@baileyy it happened to me an I was there 3yrs now I hear so much negative things about it an how bad it's gotten cause all the good ones are gone an they keep hiring people who keeps leaving
