It's so sad. I don't trust anyone with my kids. It's a huge struggle! But their safely is #1.

@blessedmama09 Yes girl. It's a struggle but I say leave them with someone you can fully trust (if you really need a babysitter, but be very cautious) and when they start talking. Just so they can at least communicate what is going on. I'm just so blessed I'm a stay at home mom but other girls I can see how it can be a struggle

@bremercado, I am a stay at home mom as well. It just gets hard because we all need a break from time to time. I honestly don't really have anyone I can trust sadly. My mom has talked crap about me to my 8 year old and he has told me. It's not right. It is sad and sucks! She's always upset when I ask for help or she'll just say no. So I've just given up on thinking she'll be here for us. My mans family lived out of state. My family is just broken so I don't really even talk to anyone. It's just my kids, their dad and I. Plus I have a special needs son who is developmentally delayed and still learning how to communicate and that makes things much more harder especially with trusting people.

@blessedmama09 I'm sorry to hear that. Especially not having help from your own mom. Children don't need to hear negativity like that and especially about their parent. I'm blessed that I have my mom who is always willing to help but I do come from a broken family as well. I can't trust them and I know how evil family can be. Sorry to hear about your child with special needs. I bet your children make you stronger and you are doing the right thing staying home with them. That's the best thing you can do. Weather if you are poor or wealthy, children appreciate there mom being home with them.

@bremercado, I'm sorry to hear about your family as well! Yes. I always say family will hurt you the worst. It's a difficult situation because in my heart family is everything and that's what I am teaching my kids but when stuff is like this it makes it confusing. That's why I am just keeping a wall up as well. I want my kids to know they are loved from me always and if I have my mom here putting me down it'll just make me feel all that negativity and react badly. Yes. My kids have made me very strong even though I have my days were I feel so down. But if it wasn't for them I probably would be here. I say they are my little angels. They woke me up. I was lost before I had them. I definitely see life very different especially being a special needs mom. I wish I could work but right now it's not in my pages so until then I have to try to be the best mom possible.

@blessedmama09 so sorry didn't realize you messaged me back. Prayers to you and your situation. I will pray for you. It's probably confusing for your children now but as they get older they will begin to understand. All you can do to demonstrate positive relationships with not just family but with people is by being a positive role model for them. I don't even talk with some of my own family members. My friends are more of my family then they are. Life is crazy

@bremercado, it's ok! Yeah life is crazy. Now that I am grown up none of my family talks. It's so crazy to me. As we are a big family. But a broken family.

Thank you for the prayers! They are very much appreciated. My oldest sees everything. He is always asking questions and I just try to explain to him everything. It's hard. Especially since I want him to have a better life.

@blessedmama09 aww well just be honest with him because kids are smart and they see everything. Talking with your kids is so healthy and I love that your son is so open with you. That's awesome hopefully my son is open with me. He just turned one.

@bremercado, Yeah, I'm pretty honest. Sometimes it's hard but I'd rather let him know what's up then him not know the truth. Awe I have a one year old too!:)
