@beebaby, my place is slightly different I have been quoted 4,900 but they do global billing at most places which is also really awesome but I won't be using that method. Also the post care is all done in the comfort of your home which is also amazing

@beebaby, I was meaning the law that everyone has to be insured or pay tax penalty that's just nuts. You know not all people can afford insurance or the penalty. I don't know anything about any bill passed with people with disabilities. That part didn't effect me and I hope that don't sound mean. Well whatever happens I hope the people that wish to have insurance or need insurance can get it at an affordable rate while the people that don't feel they need it have the option to deny it. Example if a person hasn't been sick in 10years and has no health issues they should be able to go for a yearly checkup at their primary physician and pay 100-300 dollars from there pocket as long as they are health it's crazy to make a person pay 15k a year for insurance when they only have one dr visit a year. That should be our right. The world is so messed up and they see it as the insurance can make thousands of dollars on premiums and never pay out bc this law was passed and it's a joke if u ask me. For others that have 100k in medical cover per year by all means they should be able to have an affordable option that takes care of them to get the care they need for a positive quality of life and eventually hopefully be healthy again some day.

@txyogagirl The Bill Obama passed covered people with disabilities and pre existing conditions so that my aunt who has cancer can't be denied coverage while having cancer. once that is removed my aunt will be forced to either die of cancer, pay out of pocket which cancer isn't an "affordable" disease or find somewhere that will give her treatments and be billed which is very rare. What Trump is trying to do is take away peoples right to affordable healthcare. I cringe at what the possibility will be coming soon. You think its bad now. wait until Trump cancels hospital funding. Hospitals especially private will stop accepting you just to come with no insurance and be seen. That to me would be the worst thing ever

@beebaby, omg 100 ER visits that's amazing. I do go to ERs ever and I wouldn't unless I was like dying literally lol but of course I would take my son if he needed to but our ER visits are total cost of bill before is met which would be thousands of dollars and then after that if the out of pocket has not been met then they finally pay 90% coinsurance we pay 10% until the out of pocket is met. Insurance is just nuts in my opinion and for myself and my family it's cheaper to not have it I don't care what anyone says. I really hope they change the law soon. @brownsugarluv, it’s unbelievable how these medications are so high . I wish they would make medications free if you have a bunch . It adds up quick that’s a mini vacation for us.

@beebaby, it’s insane but we have absolutely no choice our co pays are $50 every time we see our doctor unless it’s a specialist then they are $60

We're just under $1000 for my hubby's meds. 😰 That's almost a whole other house payment.
