My little boy is ten months right now. If he goes to bed any earlier then ten hes up at 12 and staying up. But hes tired at 8 and wants to sleep. Stays asleep maybe 30 mins. I want to lay him down fully then but if I let him nap at 8 we aren't going to bed at ten... What do I do? I'm so lost..

I've always just let mine sleep whenever he's tired. Til this week that is, but he's nearly 2.

It's an unpopular parenting choice, but I had to start letting my daughter cry at night around that age. She was way too dependent on me to fall asleep and stay asleep so when I would put her down at night she would wake up all the time. She is almost 14 months now but she sleeps through the night and puts herself to sleep.
