There are two distinct moments I remember when I knew I could do this. The first was after 23hrs of unmediated labor I was pushing my daughter out and I was feeling out of control and at a loss when the midwife told me to reach down and feel my daughter's head and when I did so I knew I could do this I knew I could give birth to the baby girl I have been growing and falling in love with the past 9 months. The second moment was around after the 1st week home from the hospital which was a blur if cluster feedings and sleepless nights. My little girl was fast asleep on my chest and I was just watching her drowsy and sore and she smiled this big smile in her sleep and she looked so content snuggled up to me that I knew I could do this. We have gotten thru the first week and things were becoming easier every day. I knew I could be the mom this beautiful little girl deserved ♡ I'm sure ill have lots more moments like this thru this amazing journey called parenthood. #realmomlife
