I had mine two days ago - years ago I got the flu and wound up in hospital on fluids with a 103 fever that wouldn't break... it was scary and horrible - plus I have asthma- now I guess I am a better safe than sorry.
Totally your choice, I haven't done a lot of research I worked at the hospital early on in pregnancy and had to get it. I told them I might be pregnant and I had 3 very healthy babies. I guess if this is your first time getting I'd research it. I now work at a dental office.... Can't get any closer to gems than that!! So my list changes....I can't keep my babies in a bubble and being preemies kinda changes the immune system challenges ☺️
I've been debating it this year for the kids.... I've never been for one to get it but I'm leaning towards it because they have gotten some crazy things and they are not in child care. I have one that sucks her fingers and while she usually does it only while sleeping every so often she sucks them when she is out and about. Ugh it's hard. The hospital can give you one that is meant for pregnant women, just let them know you are expecting.
I've heard soooo much on flu shots, I haven't gotten mine in a few years cause of all the bad stories.. plus my step daughter started having seizures the day after she got hers, and for that reason I don't get my boys flu shots either..
