I'm pretty sure it's the water then my family did the same thing when I moved to Nevada they tried to scare me out of not going I tried anyway I also tried working from home they told me it was going to be a scam and I was going to get my identity stolen I have been working for the same place for 6 years now you have to step out on your own if it doesn't work out at least you tried I tried it and I love it

Honestly, being from Florida, it's the same as Mobile, most job opportunities are in the medical field unless you live in the bigger cities in South Florida. That's why I left. I love Florida as it's my home state but definitely not many opportunities for 20 something's

@vicky810. That was the first place I moved to in 2010 been in Virginia now since 2012 find something that motivates you my main thing is my children you're most definitely welcome try new things in life and not everybody has to be in on your plans move in silence and let your success be the noise

Do your research and make your decision. I moved to Florida 8 years ago from NJ (where I lived all my life) and haven’t looked back ever. I left a good paying job and my close family and friends. I tried to not share my decision with a lot of people, I didn’t want to hear any negative comments specifically from people that haven’t even been here. Just spoke to a few people here in FL for their input. I’m not going to lie it was hard because I moved during the worst economy time (2009). But in return I bought really cheap and a almost new home. Going back maybe I should have purchased this home and hold on moving until economy was better. My mortgage was only $500, I could have pay it and have it as a vacation home until everything picked up. But I really needed the change and so did my family. My husband is the kind that doesn’t like changes and was not 100% on board. But you ask him now and he doesn’t even like to visit NJ even though he still has his siblings over there. I’m a sahm and he has a good paying job. 2 of my siblings moved here and it was the cherry on top, as I’m very friendly but I’m very picky as to who I have as close friends to hang out with. What’s the worst that can happen?, it doesn’t work for you and you can always go back. Best of luck in your decision. Let me know if you need to talk more. 😉

@vicky810. I moved to San Diego with my ex who was in the military. He actually got restationed in Florida ironically, but once I figured it wasn't working out he left and I stayed. And I'm glad I did. I love San Diego. Life is hard bc it's a big city but there's so many benefits and opportunities. I recently got a job with a great small company that is growing, and they allow me to work from home and are working with me on Maternity leave as well. Obviously, I'm not saying move to a big city but definitely do your research and if there's a career field you're interested in try and find a place that allows for you to grow. 😊

@steffaniedexter that's exactly what they're trying to do . And they don't realize we have our natural disasters also and for one we don't even get warned about it just happens "tornado" ... It's just sad that your people close to u don't want u to be happy and experience life . This would be a new scenery I knowone of the mamas stated that Florida is like mobile and Lessing you are in a big city and I understand that but it will be new scenery and I'm pretty sure Florida has way more opportunity in Mobile mobile literally had none nothing ! Lol I do wanna live close to Orlando if not in Orlando tho 🙂🙂
