I’ve been using the Vicks SpeedRead Digital Thermometer since my first son was born. I started out with checking the temperature in the butt when they were really little and then switched to armpit later on. Forehead isn’t ever accurate to me because they could be burning up and you wouldn’t know sometimes.

I do what @amal.a does. Except we use a pharmacy digital thermometer. When we see her temp is high though we usually follow up rectally.

@amal.a, that's what I'm worried of. I always check myself first to see what it says then him. It tests his ears and forehead.

@_sheriee, I work at a daycare and we always do under the armpit but I wanted to try this out. Maybe I'll buy a regular thermometer too and see what the difference is temp wise!
