This is a hugely debated topic. It's really up to you if you think they can tell the difference between right and wrong or if they are doing things on purpose.
I definitely feel like 6 months is too young. I didn't start with my daughter until I could clearly see her work things out in her mind and she could follow very basic commands. Until then, I feel like they don't understand why it's happening. He may be doing something on purpose but it's not the same as an older baby doing it on purpose. They learning and thought process is completely different.
Yes. My son is fixing to be 7 months and he does the same thing everyday. He grabs people very hard and scratches them over and over and over again.. He rocks back and forth constantly.. never stops moving.. kicks hard and nonstop.. doesn't care what he kicks or hits.. Lol and way more.. He yells and screams and can only say da da da da and ma ma ma ma ... He does this everyday and when you play with him and throw him in the air like he likes he kicks his legs hard in the air... never seen a baby does this but my son has been strong since birth.. the first time pushing him out he grabbed the blanket hard and tried to rip it when he came out.. He's just so rough strong and smart but a pain in the butt lol..

We recently started w my son but I think 6 mos is too early they don't understand for a while!
