Agree 100% I will do the same with my daughter.. too many kids running wild and crazy because they do not respect there parents.

@babyabilene, exactly! And if he hits my mom in the face I allow her to tap him on the hand if he doesn't stop... my boyfriends like only we are allowed to tap his hand or butt and I was like ok 😂 pretty sure my mom can too it's his grandmother

I laugh at the people who say our kids are too young to understand when they're doing something wrong. Whenever he goes to do something he's repeatedly been told not to do, he looks at me and watches for my reaction whole slowly doing it.

@nomli, yup my son does the same thing!!! He knows the word no. Sometimes when I tell him no he puckers up his lip like he's about to cry.

@kaela3, yes! I would allow my mom to do so too.. I guess I just see Sis in laws kids running crazy hitting ppl in the face and They don't do much about it.. they destroy everything they get there hands on and I know they drive her crazy.. lol I just want my daughter to have some sort of respect.

Hahaha Aww. These kids...they know how adorable they are and hope it'll get them out of trouble. He'll lower his head when he gets caught, all sad his fun ended. We're trying timeouts right now, and sometimes he'll even go against the wall and put his head down when he's in trouble!

@babyabilene, yes I know a few kids that have no respect and don't listen because there parents spoiled them rotten and that will not be my child. My boyfriend works all day everyday to support us so I have to be the strict parent and get him to know that I'm the boss basically. He does not like it when I yell at all he gets upset but when he's continually not listening I'm going to yell "no Walker get away from it"

We started last month. At this point they're barely a minute long, but it's a good way to get him away from whatever the issue is. I have to stand with him and sometimes he turns all noddlely trying to squirm away.

@damiensmommy1117, ok my boyfriend was raised totally different than I was and if my son is being rude to my mother she has every right to tell him no and tap him on the hand. Don't like what I post then block me lol.

I don't have a problem with what you posted. The issue I have taken is that it's still his child and you are still completely disregarding his wishes. I get that you want the baby to be swatted or whatever, but you or his father can be the one to do it. You know damn well that you would be pissed if your boyfriend let something happen that you explicitly stated you didn't want to happen. It's screwed up. That's not a partnership. There's no point in him being there to raise the kids if you aren't even going to take what he wants into consideration. It's selfish.

No arguing please ladies. Agree to disagree, or block and move on please.
