Swear to God, I thought when they were small and didn't understand they put things in their mouths to try it. Why does my 1 year old now suddenly have a fascination with eating every flipping thing he can find. Lotion, crayons, sequins, dust, fluff, paper. Every time I turn around he's looking at me innocently chewing, knowing full well he's not allowed to eat whatever disgusting thing it is at that time. Half the time he pulls it out and hands it back to me. Yeah thanks.

Omg my daughter has been doing the same since she was 9 months! And hair or dust or food from 3 days ago she finds hidden in the carpet or in places I can't see she will be chewing and I'm endlessly having to pull stuff out of her mouth I thought she would grow out of it by 1 but maybe not 😭😭 the struggle is real

@mum2sky Like why?! I can see it on his face he knows it's not allowed SO WHYYYYY. Honestly so tiring isn't it? He licked the end of the hoover pipe the other day. I just literally gave up on protecting him after that. Makes me want to vomit 😭😭

@noshinxoxo I really don't understand. I thought it might be she's hungry but nope I just don't get it and exactly they know it's wrong but still continue. Omg lol sorry it's not funny it's gross but kids are just something else 😂and yeah I've given up aswell unless it's something really bad x

@chesscalouise2 100% like yes you have to protect them from eating things they choke on sure, but what about telling me they'll try and eat their own nappy if they find the sack near the front door before you get a chance to chuck it out?!

My daughter eats the fluff from the dryer chews her shoes that shes been outside in literally puts anything in her mouth that she can bottle lids she finds in the parks you name it she puts it in her mouth xx @noshinxoxo
