I think if I didn't have my SO here to help me with our daughter I would probably lose it!! Don't get get wrong motherhood is beautiful and I love my daughter to pieces but there's a lot of stressful moments, especially with breastfeeding. I got so frustrated because she wouldn't latch correctly, just kept crying instead of sucking and my back was killing me and the pain meds haven't been helping. I just gave her to her Dad, rolled over and started crying into the covers. I needed that moment and if he wasn't here me and her would be crying together.

@brianne @beebaby I was never this emotional before having her now I cry every time I'm frustrated, when I can't feed her it feels like I'm not doing my job as a mother

Its not easy for everyone. Its hard work. My daughter cried the first 3 days of life. Breastfeeding sucked and was painful for the first 6 weeks. Its not always as wonderful as you think it will be. I struggled a lot it is normal

@mommyofmessiah-marie, that is so normal. It's okay. I promise. I had horrible psychosis with my last. To the point that I was mad at both of my children and I wanted nothing to do with them and just wanted to give them to their fathers and run. It's normal to be completely out of whack for a little while after having her. Babies do a number on us physically and emotionally and mentally. If possible, go see a counselor for a few weeks. It could help. And it doesn't even have to be for long.

@mommyofmessiah-marie, please do. Taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your little one.
