Can you take a pregnancy test anytime of the day?

I know the dollar general brand has the test where it says anytime of day it's a dollar.

If you’re already past the time when your period is due then a test should be able to detect the hormone any time of the day. If you haven’t missed your period yet you should use first morning grind

You can take it anytime of the day - if you're pregnant it will show positive no matter what time it is.

They say it's better to do the test first thing in the morning.

But I've always taken mine in the afternoon/evening when my husband is home.

I took mine at night.
