How far dilated do you have to be before the hospital will keep you? Went to the hospital this morning with contractions and I was 3cm and they sent me home! I'm in pain and don't want to go back if they are just going to send me home again! ugh I hate this! This being my first baby every thing is confusing on what to do!!

It depends on the hospital and how far a long you are. I was almost a week past due with my daughter and was only at 2cm when I started having contractions. They broke my water to see if it would help dilate me more and it did.

Go else where different states won’t admit till 5 cm

I would call and ask. And tbh you don't know how dilated you are unless you're at the hospital.

Yep, I was 2 days from being due...3 cm and they sent me home lol. I cried cause I was so done
