Ok so please no bashing..I do enough of that myself. My son turns 2 next month. Tonight is the 1st official night of sippy cups only. We threw all of the bottles away. This is the 2nd time we've done this. The 1st time his dr told us just to give him a bottle at night (comfort thing) and make sure we brush his teeth, which we did. It's now 12:34 am and he is still awake screaming and throwing a temper tantrum and we put him to bed at his normal bedtime between 8:30-9:00.... I am exhausted!!! Only thing I'm worried about is come February when Robyn comes will he revert back to not drinking out of sippy cups?!? Also how long of constant sippy cups only days does it normally take for a toddler to just take it and go about their day because I want sleep eventually!! Help

For us, it was just a night of crying, I got a sippy cup that the nipple looked slightly like the one of a bottle, once she got used to that (about three days) I took it awake and gave her the 360 cup (I think that's how it's called) she didn't want it but was thirsty so she'll drink out of it and go right back to sleep it's been over two weeks I believe and so far so good, we got rid of every single bottle in the house as well idk if this is the proper way to do it but it worked for me

@p0790 I had my son throw them away and he was fine with the sippy cup all day until bedtime then the fit started. I just hope its an easy transition. He's been quiet for about 20 mins now so hopefully the sippy cup that I just gave him is the winner. 3rd cup I've tried tonight. Sad part is he drinks out of regular cups like mine all day. He's still messy with them but he uses them with no problem.

Have you tried the 360 cups? It’s like a normal cup. Maybe he’ll like it? Also, are you using a hard spout sippy or soft? When I transitioned my son we started with the soft and during the day the hard. Then slowly took away the the soft spout.

@orionsmomma I actually use both because he drinks out of both with no problem until night then the end of the world happens... and I have tried every single sippy cup available at Walmart, I haven't tried that particular one but I did one similar and he loves it except at night. Looks like I'll have to find that one if the current cup doesnt work
