@ikarlaaa, ohhh that sounds kinda scary though!! Do you have a high pain tolerance??
To be honest, it’s been an idea but I probably won’t get it. I have never been on birth control before and don’t really plan on it. (Because of the negative side effects) but I don’t plan on having another baby considering how painful my first one was!
@sharaiaa27, not gonna lie. I was soooo scared! I haven’t even had sex because of the fact that I had been able to feel the stitches. So having them get in there made me more tense. When the speculum went it, it wasn’t too bad. Once they started putting in the IUD, I felt intense cramping and it set in how this thing wasn’t coming out unless I repeated this process. Overall, the pain was about a 4. Feels like intense cramps but nothing like a contraction. More like period cramps. Now that I’m home, it’s like a 2. Were you thinking of getting one inserted?
@sharaiaa27, I think considering what we’ve been through, it wasn’t too bad especially since the whole thing took like 5 mins. I have always been on the pill up to this point and I’ve never had negative side effects. The good thing about the pill is that if you decided to stop taking it due to side effects, you can. I chose this route mainly because I don’t want a kid for at least 2 more years and I have terrible memory with my pills.
