I was told and it was definitely true that when I was pregnant with my son and they sent me to get checked for preeclampsia (which I did in fact have) that I was having full blown contractions. I didn't feel them at all. Dr said if I hadn't been checked i would have ended up having my son at home with no clue as to what was going on until ta-da baby. So if I have another csection or try for a VBAC, what do the contractions feel like?

I think for everyone they are different. For me it was just a very uncomfortable feeling, I couldn't relax at all and stomach tightening. I only went in to the hospital because my water broke.

@dianne1211, yeah. At that point I was so tired when we got to the hospital I cried because I just wanted to sleep lol

@littleonemorning lol what is sleep! And I bet so. The Dr and nurses came in and were like are you ok and I was like yea...? Why? And they were like you are having full on contractions I was like I don't feel a thing
