Had my first appointment yesterday im 7 weeks and 1 day today heart beat was good my doctor said 😍😍 but in my third appointment he wants to do do the birth defect and down syndrome testing and ultrasounds honestly so scared its so far away but i need it to come fast hope everything comes out good this time 🙏 two months please pass by fast

I refused to do them... there are often false positives... at the 20w anatomy scan they can know for sure if there are issues... so my thought was, why stress it! I did not do it with either child... both were fine!

I refused that test also and at my 20 week snoring scan they told me everything is looking great and she’s growing right on point.

@dogmom12 i was refusing it with my first time being pregnant but something told me to do it and the baby had a birth defect it was good to get me prepared for anything that was to happen

@dreamermom i have to do it because my first pregnacy he had gastroschisis and because of that i needed consent watching to the organs and sadly one became to inflammed and lastly hes heart stop and i had a stillbornso i kinda have to

@kay7, oh that's so sad! I'm sorry for your loss... in your case I certainly see the reason they need all the 'possibilities' known ahead of time to prepare a plan... just in case! I pray you have a healthy baby, and a smooth pregnancy!
