36w1d today doc checked me I was 1cm how long y'all think I can have ? N I thought if u was diating…

From what I understand, you don't feel yourself dilating, unless you have contractions, but you can dilate early on without contractions or have them so mild you can't feel it. Also you could be stuck at 1cm for weeks or you could dilate quickly in a few days. Just depends on your body

@courtney.welsh, well I go to the doc every week I think They will check me Again ? N I have a feeling pretty soon they are going to induce me!! Today if my blood pressure didn't go dwn they was gonna induce me today

@courtney.welsh, do u think when they induce me it will make things go by faster since I'm 1cm or 1 n a half I forgot what the lady said

@gabriela_duque18, they probably will. I know when I'm going weekly, they said they'll do internal checks every week. Which means checking for dilation of course. Every doctor is different though and some don't check for dilation at all. And I'm excited for you! It's getting so close!!!

@gabriela_duque18, yeah, inducing is just pushing your body into labor. My brothers girlfriend couldn't dilate past 5cm but was having contractions back to back. Some people it's very quick labor and delivery. Same thing, everyone is different.

@courtney.welsh, they put me on a montier every week n check my blood pressure my last 4 appts my blood pressure been high 🙄 I'm kinda happy but then I'm not because I don't want to be induced early yet
