Your doctor will most likely start checking you every appointment unless you chose not to be. Some women can stay 1cm for as long as weeks, unfortunately there's no given time frame since every labor is so different.
Yes from now on your doctor will check you if you're dilated every week . & it depends on your body . You can stay 1 Cm all the way till your 40 weeks or less . That just all depends on your body .

I been 1cm dilated for 3 weeks now and I was just checked a couple days ago. My Dr said it can be weeks. Everyone is different but every week appointments is when you will be checked. @gabriela_duque18 are you going to be induced? I thought I saw something about that.
@firsttimemommy88, I have to go every week to get the baby on montier n today my doc sent me to labor in deli n she told me if they couldn't get my blood pressure dwn that they would have induce me today I'm glad it went dwn
@gabriela_duque18 I'm glad it went down too. I hope it stays down but it'll all be alright. And I'm on every week appointments now also. But not as same as you but I hope it stays down. Try to stay calm though
