My daughter is 18 months I have only just gave her a pillow now and its a breathable pillow I paid a small fortune for as pillows really scare me😥 I won't be giving her a duvet until she can't fit in sleeping bags anymore as for the toddler bad I dont think am brave enough to try that any time soon she would either fall out of it because she sleeps in all strong ways haha or as soon as she realises she can get out she would and would be up all night playing xx @deedee1988

@deedee1988, Aweh noooo!!! I totally understand Aweh bless!! Hope it turns out okay! I'm being paranoid now with McKenzie having a blocked nose he can't death tidy and keeps waking up panicking and it's panicking me xxx

I had the same view starting off @lauren1996 and I did it up till she was four months and she had a really bad chest infection ended up in hospital cus she's stop breathing with her airways closed when she slept, so I panicked and became a overprotective mammy and had her in with me since. But I do regret it cus I had her in a awesome routine before that 🤔 xx

@deedee1988, Aweh I'm with you!! Aweh see I never had McKenzie in with me just something I wasn't comfortable doing, because they say if you smoke not to and I didn't want to chance it, and because I was starting as I mean to go on xxx

@lauren1996 I'm gunna buy the safety guards for either side and the top and bottom of the bed are high too so I'm eliminating that as best I can, think I'm gunna hate it more than her tho cus I'll miss the night cuddles lol xx

My own fault

She won't go in the cot at all, known fault tho cus she's been in bed with me for few.months now so I'm hoping once its a bed not a cot that shell feel better in there cus it's closer.to what's she's used to that way xx fingers crossed @lauren1996

@deedee1988, McKenzie is still in his cot, how come your making it into the toddler bed so soon? Xxx

@lauren1996 gunna convert her cot into the toddler bed and use the safety guards on there. But I think that will feel more like why's she's used to than having a cot and blanket. Give me strength cus I know once I starr i can't give in so few sleepless nights for me I think lol xx

McKenzie was 5 weeks going into his cot, and and he's had a duvet since about 3/4months and a pillow about 8/9 months old xx

Well she's been sleeping in with me for last few months and kinda got in a rut with it but I think cus she's now used to the bed I'll change her cot to the toddler bed now and give her a duvet and pillow like she has in with me , so I know I'll have hell at first but that's cus she'll be In her own room again @isabellaboo fingers crossed xx

I think I did when my little one was just over one, just tried her with a small flat pillow then a little duvet she loved them, I also tried her in a cot bed at 18 months but she wasn't ready and woke up screaming so had to put her back in her cot, I fully moved her up when she was 2ish as she climbed out of her cot and it wasn't safe for her anymore 😂 just give it a go when you and your little one feel ready and if their not don't get upset they will when they want to 😊xx
