Any mommies believe in "crying it out" my boy was sleeping so good in his crib already never had issues going to bed alone and lately had some tummy issues/teething at night would scream so I had to take him on our bed and after few times like that this kid cries bloody murder every evening when we put him in crib doesn't want to fall asleep alone even though his eyes are closed he soo sleepy 😩🤕now I gotta train him back and I can't stand to listen to that screaming much longer.

I believe in doing what's best for you and your baby. I personally don't practice CIO method, I might in the future idk. I personally feel when baby isn't speaking yet, crying is their way of communication and they just need something. If you think you should let him CIO then do it.

Just retrain him. Letting him scream is not gonna give either of you sleep. Go lay in his room with him

Nope. 🙅 Lay with him. Rock him to sleep. Anything but letting him cry himself to sleep.

He's 16 mo old now and understand a whole lot and he just screams because he is upset he is alone...when he was a baby I didn't do the CIO

That's the problem that now one of us has to lay on bed until he falls asleep it's been mostly my husband lately and then we end up falling asleep with him and don't get our alone time to be in peace

There's absolutely no babies in our bed. When my baby cries at night all I do is go in and pick her up and give her some boob and rock her for 3-5 minutes to let her know mommy is still here and she is ok and I lay her down and walk out of her room. She might fuss for a minute but she goes to sleep

If you know you've fed and changed and given baby all the lovin it needs for the night, let him/her cry. It'll be a lot harder to train them to sleep on their own as they get older. I let mine cry it out for at most 15 minutes or 20. If they cry for thirty then you might wanna check the diaper, feed, and maybe even burp to get them comfortable. Theres no right or wrong on how to care for your kids, if cosleeping is for your family-go for it. If not, then try to cry it out method. Babies love their sleep and once they have their own space and bed, oh, they'll know right away once bed time comes around. And soon you get into a routine and babies will sleep the moment you put them in their crib..babies are smart :) if baby can cry til youcome back and sleep next to him/her, they can learn to sleep without you too.

@summerdream I agree 100%. Mine sleeps thru the night most of the time so I know if she's up crying it's due to a bad dream or wanting a drink. So I just give her some boob wait for her to calm down and back in her crib she goes.

@barefootmom, the moment baby sleeps put him in his own bed. It'll be hard the first two days but it's really just training yourself to keep putting baby in own bed. You'll have to wake up, it will suck, but it will be worth it! Especially for that privacy. My first baby I co slept til 8 months, my second I knew for a fact I didn't want to co sleep as long as I did with my first. I got my second baby to sleep in own bassinet at one month! And it was glorious lol! One of the girls on this ap did the same thing, trained baby by one month!

@lucifermommy, yassss!!! Isn't that the most amazing thing?! LOL I got more sleep with my second kid than my first. I do the same thing. Feed her and i put her back in bed and she'll go right ahead and sleep again!😍
