@mommaxbearx, so when I had my oldest, Aiden(now age 10) we lived in a different state, NC, I labored for 22 hours including 4 hours of pushing with him there were a ton of complications including him being so big, which stumped us all after he was born, after hours of labor and pushing and a 10 pound 7 ounce baby stuck at crowning, the doctor said he's not coming out, were going to have to do an emergency cesarean, which is really risky at that point because you run the risk of cutting the baby. However when we had our daughter, Lyla (now age 4)I was allowed to labor and have her vaginal and we had a successful vbac with her, we moved to Florida when Lyla was around 9 months old, we have lived here for 3 years now. When we got pregnant with Alex (now age 1) I was told that I have to have a c-section because of my first, which made no since to me because I have already labored on what at that point was a 9 year old scar. The laws down here protect the doctors I called every midwife, doulla, ob-gyn in the surrounding areas, Auburndale, Lakeland, winter haven, Tampa, Orlando, etc., They wouldn't do it. I called every one i could find online, and in the phone book, even places people recommended. Now that the scar has been reopened and my birth control failed on me and we are having a back to back pregnancy, there is no chance of them letting me vbac.
