I was a single mom with my first. Don't let his actions make you feel like you aren't a good parent. He is immature if he is going to not claim his child because he's pissed off at you.. It sounds to me he's just trying to make you feel bad. Don't cancel the trip. Go see your best friend and live your life. He's using the child to try to control you and that's not right at all.

@tayler, :( it's working on his end. The shitty part is my car got repo after me n my husband spilt bc I couldn't afford it so my baby daddy bought me a truck and he took it back last night. So now I'll have nothing. My baby deserves so much more :(

@kri2182999 I know how you feel hun. My daughters dad use to pull the same shit.. shes 5 and he has only seen her a handful of times. But honestly I realized hes the one missing out. You can't make someone be a parent! It's the same way for moms. If a mom keeps a child from their dad because he cheated then that's just selfish and using the child as a weapon. Just take it day by day. He will either grow up and be there or he won't. And that's not your fault! And trust me your baby will love you and respect you for always doing what you can!

I'm 19 I haven't had my baby yet but I'm doing this all on my own the baby's father landed himself in prison it's so stressful thinking about him not being involved even if he wanted to but I'm pretty confident in myself and you should be too! I feel like we will have an even stronger bond with our baby and it will help us to have the motivation to do the best we can
