I need opinions do y'all think I should get my baby circumsized? Or not why WhT not

yes you may as well get it done while he is a baby , the older he gets it will hurt him more and he could get infections

I'm getting my son circumsized. It's for health reasons, prevents infections. His father (we are not together) tries to tell me no, that it should be his decision😂.

My son is circumscized. Didn't have an issue at all. Healed quickly. Out Dr told us to keep his penis covered in Vaseline while it heals so it didn't stick to the diaper. Which made things way easier. For the procedure, my son only cried when he got the numbing shot and because he couldn't move his legs the way he wanted (he's quite the wiggler). But afterwards he was fine. Get it done as soon as you can once they are born. Don't let anyone put your down for your choice. You're the mom, so you know what's best for your child ❤️

It's a real easy procedure they use numbing meds which the most babies don't even cry for that but some do cause it's a shot and the perform the procedure. I've seen babies sleep through the whole thing.

No because its pain your baby doesn't need to experience. Its not medically necessary which means you don't NEED to do it for him to be "cleaner" that's been scientifically disproven. Which is why most insurances don't cover it now. Its mostly done for religious reasons not necessarily what's in the best interests of the baby. Most women say they do it so their sons won't be teased. But I can tell you first hand that growing up I never could tell the difference between a circumcised and uncircumcised penis. So there. Lol

My son is 2 weeks old and was circumcised at about 5 days old and It has already healed. We paid 150.00 at his doctors office vs the 250.00 hospital fee. It took her in total about 45 minutes. 30 minutes was used just to allow the numbing creaming to set in. I had zero medication to go home with, she told me to just get some baby Tylenol, which I wasted my money on cause I only used it once. I would say do it because they won't remember it and I don't even think my son felt it at all. And also my son was not strapped down in that horrific way people keep going around saying.

It's a very personal choice. My oldest two boys are, they are 11 & 15. Back then it was the norm. Since then, all this new information has come out. Guess what, even though I read and researched all that new info, my 3rd son is also circumsized. I asked my husband, even my teenager! If your unsure, my best advice is to talk to your SO or any man you trust really. Ask their opinion, after all they have the equipment, we don't ;)

Im having a boy and i will be. My husband wasnt and he had to get it done in high school and he said it was the worst thing in the world. Even though they say if they keep it clean there wont be infections he would get them and hes a clean freak. So its totaly up to you but i like prevention and i dont want him to suffer later in life

If I have a boy I will be..all my boys are...if they aren't they have to clean it an they can get an infection an it will have a bad odor. But talk to your doctor hun. Best of luck
